Everywhere around you. Friends, Family, strangers, animals, movies, books, music, happenings, little situations of life, feelings, even tiny flowers or falling snowflakes are inspiring for art.

Überall um dich herum. Freunde, Familie, Fremde, Tiere, Filme, Bücher, Musik, Ereignisse, kleine Lebenssituationen, Gefühle, sogar ein kleines Blümchen oder eine Schneeflocke können zu Kunst inspirieren.

::: What about a muse? :::
Marilyn Monroe is my Muse. And some other female stars. Sometimes I like to paint but I have no idea what to paint. This actually happens. I have this amazing little photo-book from Milton H. Greene with photos from Marilyn called "Milton's Marilyn". And another photo-book called "Leading Ladies". I'm always getting ideas for a painting when I look at these photos!

::: Wie sieht's mit 'ner Muse aus? :::
Marilyn Monroe ist meine Muse. Und diverse andere "Ältere" Filmstars. Manchmal will ich etwas malen, hab aber keine Ahnung was - sowas kommt tatsächlich vor ;). Ich habe ein nettes, kleines Marilyn Monroe Fotobuch von Milton H. Greene "Milton's Marilyn". Und ein weiteres Buch "Leading Ladies". Wenn ich mir einen dieser Fotobände ansehe fällt mir immer was ein!

:::How to learn painting:::
I never studied art. I just love painting since I can hold a pencil in my hands... I've joined a few art courses when I was a child. I guess I learned the most by trying, but I still have a lot to learn! If you wake up in the morning and you can't think about anything else then art, then you're an artist. A teacher once told me that I should paint what I see. Erm... well, I'm doing my very best! He never told me if I should paint the things I see in reality, or those I see in my dreams or with my heart... whatever. So I try it all. An artwork can never be wrong painted. It always depends on the person who's looking at it - some will like it and some won't like it. So if you want to paint just do it.

::: Wie man malen lernt :::
Ich habe eigentlich nie wirklich malen gelernt. Ich male seit ich einen Stift in meiner Hand halten kann und habe schon immer Spaßdaran gehabt. Als Kind bzw. Teeny habe ich ein paar Malkurse mitgemacht. Das meiste habe ich aber durch probieren gelernt, und ich denke ich muß immer noch einiges dazu lernen! Wenn man morgens aufwacht
und an nichts anderes als Kunst denkt, ist man ein Künstler. Einer meiner Lehrer hat mir mal gesagt ich soll malen was ich sehe. Ähäm. Ich tu mein bestes! Zu meiner Verteidigung mußich dazu sagen, daß er mir nie gesagt hat ob ich das malen soll was ich in der Realität sehe, oder auch das was ich in meiner Fantasie und mit meinem Herzen sehe... oder was auch immer. Also hab ich einfach alles versucht. Ein Kunstwerk kann nie falsch sein. Es liegt immer im Auge des Betrachters, manchen gefällt's und manchen eben nicht. Wenn du also malen willst dann fang einfach an.
